Terms of service.

This is an agreement between you and Mualo Labs (“Mualo”, “we”, “us”) covering the Mualo app, this site, and everything we offer through them — the service.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data, and it forms part of this agreement.

هذا اتفاق بينك وبين شركة Mualo Labs (ويُشار إليها هنا بـ «موالو» أو «نحن»)، ويشمل تطبيق موالو وهذا الموقع وكل ما نقدّمه من خلالهما، ونسمّيه «الخدمة».

بإنشائك حسابًا أو باستخدامك الخدمة، فإنك تقبل هذه الشروط. وإذا لم تقبلها، فلا تستخدم الخدمة.

توضّح سياسة الخصوصية لدينا ما نفعله ببياناتك، وهي جزء لا يتجزأ من هذا الاتفاق.

You need to be at least 13, or 16 where local law sets that age, and to have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree to these terms on your behalf.

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself, and write to contact@mualo.co if you think someone else has it. What happens on your account is your responsibility.

Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current.

يجب ألّا يقلّ عمرك عن ١٣ عامًا، أو ١٦ عامًا حيث يحدّد القانون المحلي هذه السنّ، وأن تكون أهلًا قانونًا لإبرام العقود. وإذا كان عمرك دون ١٨ عامًا، فيجب أن يوافق أحد والديك أو وليّ أمرك على هذه الشروط نيابةً عنك.

حساب واحد لكل شخص. واحتفظ بكلمة مرورك لنفسك، وراسلنا على contact@mualo.co إذا كنت تعتقد أن شخصًا آخر حصل عليها. وأنت مسؤول عمّا يجري على حسابك.

زوّدنا ببيانات صحيحة عند التسجيل، واحرص على تحديثها.

Mualo is a language-learning tool. The tutor is software — it generates its replies, and like any AI it can be wrong, awkward, or confidently mistaken. Use your judgement, particularly before relying on a translation in a situation that matters.

We do not promise a level, a score, a certificate, or a result in any exam. What you get out of Mualo depends on the work you put into it.

Mualo is not a substitute for professional advice — legal, medical, financial or otherwise — whatever a lesson happens to be about.

موالو أداة لتعلّم اللغات. والمعلّم فيه برنامج حاسوبي يولّد ردوده، وهو، كأي ذكاء اصطناعي، قد يخطئ أو يأتي بردٍّ غير موفّق أو يكون واثقًا وهو مخطئ. لذا استخدم حكمك الشخصي، خصوصًا قبل الاعتماد على ترجمة في موقف مهمّ.

نحن لا نعدك بمستوى معيّن أو بدرجة أو بشهادة أو بنتيجة في أي امتحان. فما تجنيه من موالو يتوقّف على الجهد الذي تبذله فيه.

موالو ليس بديلًا عن الاستشارة المهنية — القانونية أو الطبية أو المالية أو غيرها — مهما كان موضوع الدرس.

Part of Mualo is free. The rest needs a paid subscription, and we show you the price and the billing period before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel. We charge the payment method on file.

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, that store takes the payment and its terms govern the transaction. Manage or cancel the subscription in your store account, not with us.

We may change prices. A change reaches you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and never in the middle of a period you have already paid for.

جزء من موالو مجاني، أما الباقي فيتطلّب اشتراكًا مدفوعًا، ونعرض عليك السعر ومدة الفوترة قبل الشراء.

تتجدّد الاشتراكات تلقائيًا في نهاية كل مدة، بالسعر الساري حينها، إلى أن تُلغيها. ونخصم المبلغ من وسيلة الدفع المسجّلة لديك.

إذا اشتركت عبر App Store أو Google Play، فإن ذلك المتجر هو من يتولّى الدفع وتسري شروطه على العملية. وعندها تدير الاشتراك أو تلغيه من حسابك في المتجر لا معنا.

قد نغيّر الأسعار. ويصلك أي تغيير قبل سريانه بثلاثين يومًا على الأقل، ولا يسري أبدًا في منتصف مدة سبق أن دفعت ثمنها.

A free trial gives you the paid features for a fixed period. Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription and we charge you.

One trial per person. We may shorten or withdraw a trial, and we may refuse one to an account that appears to have had a trial already.

تمنحك الفترة التجريبية المجانية الميزات المدفوعة لمدة محدّدة. وما لم تُلغِها قبل انتهائها، فإنها تتحوّل إلى اشتراك مدفوع ونحصّل قيمته منك.

فترة تجريبية واحدة لكل شخص. ويجوز لنا تقصير الفترة التجريبية أو سحبها، كما يجوز لنا رفض منحها لحساب يبدو أنه استفاد منها من قبل.

Cancel whenever you like. Your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We do not pro-rate a part-used period.

Payments are otherwise non-refundable, except where the law says otherwise or where we decide to make an exception.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. That right ends once you have asked us to start the service immediately and you have used it.

A purchase made through an app store is refunded by that store, under its own policy.

يمكنك الإلغاء متى شئت. وعندها يستمرّ اشتراكك حتى نهاية المدة التي دفعت ثمنها ولا يتجدّد. ونحن لا نحتسب المبالغ بالتناسب عن مدة استُخدمت جزئيًا.

وفيما عدا ذلك، فإن المبالغ المدفوعة غير قابلة للاسترداد، إلا حيث يقضي القانون بغير ذلك أو حيث نقرّر نحن منح استثناء.

إذا كنت مستهلكًا في المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية أو المملكة المتحدة، فلك أربعة عشر يومًا للعدول عن الشراء. وينتهي هذا الحق متى طلبت منّا بدء الخدمة فورًا وشرعت في استخدامها.

أما الشراء الذي يتمّ عبر متجر تطبيقات، فيتولّى ذلك المتجر ردّ قيمته وفق سياسته الخاصة.

Using Mualo comes with a short list of things that will get an account suspended.

• Use the service for anything illegal, or to harass, defraud or harm anyone.
• Share, resell or sublicense your account, or use the service to build a competing product.
• Reverse-engineer the app, scrape it, or extract data from it by automation.
• Work around usage limits, rate limits, paywalls or security controls.
• Upload malware, or anything you have no right to upload.
• Send the tutor content that is abusive, sexual and involving minors, or otherwise unlawful. We suspend accounts for this without notice.

يترافق استخدام موالو مع قائمة قصيرة من الأمور التي تؤدي إلى تعليق الحساب.

• استخدام الخدمة في أي غرض غير قانوني، أو للتحرّش بأي شخص أو الاحتيال عليه أو إيذائه.
• مشاركة حسابك أو إعادة بيعه أو ترخيصه من الباطن، أو استخدام الخدمة لبناء منتج منافس.
• الهندسة العكسية للتطبيق أو استخراج محتواه آليًا أو سحب البيانات منه بوسائل مؤتمتة.
• الالتفاف على حدود الاستخدام أو حدود المعدّل أو جدران الدفع أو ضوابط الأمان.
• رفع برمجيات ضارة أو أي محتوى لا تملك حق رفعه.
• إرسال محتوى مسيء إلى المعلّم، أو محتوى جنسي يتعلق بقاصرين، أو أي محتوى غير مشروع. ونحن نعلّق الحسابات في هذه الحالة دون إشعار.

What you type and say in a lesson stays yours. You give us the licence we need to run the service — to store it, process it, transcribe it and show it back to you — and nothing beyond that.

We may use it to improve Mualo in the ways our privacy policy describes. You can delete it from the app at any time.

You are responsible for having the right to whatever you put into the service.

ما تكتبه وتقوله في الدرس يظلّ ملكك. وأنت تمنحنا الترخيص الذي نحتاجه لتشغيل الخدمة — أي تخزينه ومعالجته وتحويله إلى نص وعرضه عليك — ولا شيء يتجاوز ذلك.

وقد نستخدمه لتحسين موالو بالطرق الموصوفة في سياسة الخصوصية لدينا. ويمكنك حذفه من التطبيق في أي وقت.

وأنت مسؤول عن امتلاك الحق فيما تُدخله إلى الخدمة.

The app, the site, the lessons, the software, the name and the logo belong to us or to our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for as long as these terms are in force. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything.

Feedback you send us, we may use freely and without owing you anything for it.

التطبيق والموقع والدروس والبرمجيات والاسم والشعار ملك لنا أو لمرخِّصينا. ونمنحك ترخيصًا شخصيًا محدودًا غير قابل للتحويل لاستخدام الخدمة ما دامت هذه الشروط سارية. ولا ينقل أي بند هنا ملكية أي شيء.

أما الملاحظات التي ترسلها إلينا، فيجوز لنا استخدامها بحرية ودون أن يترتّب لك علينا مقابل.

Mualo runs on top of other people’s platforms — app stores, payment processors, cloud hosting and AI providers. Their terms govern their part of it, and we are not responsible for how they behave.

Links to third-party sites are there for convenience. We do not vouch for what is on the other side of them.

يعمل موالو فوق منصّات تخصّ أطرافًا أخرى — متاجر التطبيقات وجهات معالجة المدفوعات ومزوّدي الاستضافة السحابية والذكاء الاصطناعي. وتحكم شروط تلك الأطراف الجزء الخاص بها، ولسنا مسؤولين عن تصرّفاتها.

أما روابط المواقع الخارجية فهي للتيسير فقط، ونحن لا نضمن ما تجده على الطرف الآخر منها.

We add features, change them and retire them. If we retire something you paid for and there is no reasonable replacement, we refund the unused part of your subscription.

Some features are labelled beta or preview. Those come with no promises at all, and they may break or disappear.

نحن نضيف الميزات ونعدّلها ونوقفها. وإذا أوقفنا ميزة دفعت مقابلها ولم يكن لها بديل معقول، فإننا نردّ إليك قيمة الجزء غير المستخدَم من اشتراكك.

وتحمل بعض الميزات وصف «تجريبية» أو «معاينة»، وهذه تأتي دون أي التزامات على الإطلاق، وقد تتعطّل أو تختفي.

You can close your account at any time from the app.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other people at risk, or that we are required by law to act on. Where we reasonably can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of any subscription. The sections that by their nature survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law — continue to apply after the account is gone.

يمكنك إغلاق حسابك في أي وقت من داخل التطبيق.

ويجوز لنا تعليق أو إغلاق أي حساب يخالف هذه الشروط، أو يعرّض الخدمة أو الآخرين للخطر، أو يلزمنا القانون بالتصرّف حياله. وحيثما أمكننا ذلك بصورة معقولة، نُعلمك أولًا ونمنحك فرصة لتصحيح الوضع.

وإذا أغلقنا حسابك دون سبب، فإننا نردّ إليك قيمة الجزء غير المستخدَم من أي اشتراك. أما البنود التي تبقى سارية بطبيعتها — الملكية وإخلاء المسؤولية وحدود المسؤولية والقانون الواجب التطبيق — فتظلّ نافذة بعد زوال الحساب.

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except where consumer law entitles you to bring a claim where you live.

Before starting anything formal, write to contact@mualo.co. Most things are settled faster that way.

تخضع هذه الشروط لقوانين [الاختصاص القضائي]، وتنعقد لمحاكم [الاختصاص القضائي] الولاية الحصرية للنظر في أي نزاع، إلا حيث يخوّلك قانون حماية المستهلك رفع الدعوى في مكان إقامتك.

وقبل الشروع في أي إجراء رسمي، راسلنا على contact@mualo.co فمعظم الأمور تُحسم بهذه الطريقة أسرع.

We may update these terms. The new version goes up here with a new date, and where a change materially affects you we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Mualo after that means you accept the new version.

قد نحدّث هذه الشروط. وتُنشر النسخة الجديدة هنا بتاريخ جديد، ومتى كان التغيير يؤثّر فيك تأثيرًا جوهريًا، فإننا نُعلمك بالبريد الإلكتروني أو داخل التطبيق قبل سريانه بثلاثين يومًا على الأقل. واستمرارك في استخدام موالو بعد ذلك يعني قبولك النسخة الجديدة.
