Mualo is operated by Mualo Labs (“Mualo”, “we”, “us”). For the personal data described here, Mualo Labs is the data controller — the party that decides why and how it is used.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@mualo.app.

يُشغّل موالو شركة Mualo Labs (ويُشار إليها هنا بـ «موالو» أو «نحن»). وبالنسبة للبيانات الشخصية الموصوفة في هذه السياسة، فإن Mualo Labs هي المتحكّم بالبيانات، أي الجهة التي تقرّر لماذا وكيف تُستخدم.

We collect what we need to teach you a language and to keep the service running. That falls into six groups.

• Account details — your name, email address, a hashed password or a sign-in token from Apple or Google, and the language and level you are learning.
• Learning data — your lessons, the messages you write, your answers, your progress, and the mistakes we correct.
• Voice — the audio of what you say in a lesson, and the transcript we make of it, when you choose to speak rather than type.
• Device and usage — device model, operating system, app version, language settings, IP address, crash reports, and which features you use.
• Payment — handled by our payment processor. We receive your plan, its status and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store the full card number.
• Support — whatever you send us by email or through the app when you ask for help.

نجمع ما نحتاجه لتعليمك اللغة وللحفاظ على عمل الخدمة، وهو ينقسم إلى ستّ مجموعات.

• بيانات الحساب — اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني وكلمة مرور مُشفّرة أو رمز دخول من Apple أو Google، واللغة والمستوى اللذين تتعلّمهما.
• بيانات التعلّم — دروسك، والرسائل التي تكتبها، وإجاباتك، وتقدّمك، والأخطاء التي نصحّحها لك.
• الصوت — تسجيل ما تقوله في الدرس والنص المكتوب المستخرج منه، وذلك عندما تختار التحدّث بدل الكتابة.
• الجهاز والاستخدام — طراز الجهاز ونظام التشغيل وإصدار التطبيق وإعدادات اللغة وعنوان IP وتقارير الأعطال والميزات التي تستخدمها.
• الدفع — تتولّاه جهة معالجة المدفوعات لدينا. نحن نستلم اسم الاشتراك وحالته وآخر أربعة أرقام من البطاقة فقط، ولا نرى رقم البطاقة الكامل ولا نخزّنه.
• الدعم — ما ترسله إلينا بالبريد الإلكتروني أو عبر التطبيق عندما تطلب المساعدة.

To run the lessons — to hold a conversation with you, correct what you say, adapt the difficulty to your level, and keep your progress from one session to the next.

To run the service — to create and secure your account, take payment, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

To improve Mualo — to understand which lessons work, fix what breaks, and build new features. Wherever it is enough, we do this on aggregated or de-identified data.

To stay in touch — service messages such as receipts, security alerts and account notices. Marketing email only if you asked for it, and every one of them has an unsubscribe link.

لتشغيل الدروس — لإجراء محادثة معك، وتصحيح ما تقوله، وضبط مستوى الصعوبة حسب مستواك، والحفاظ على تقدّمك من جلسة إلى أخرى.

لتشغيل الخدمة — لإنشاء حسابك وتأمينه، وتحصيل المدفوعات، والردّ على طلبات الدعم، ومنع الاحتيال وإساءة الاستخدام، والوفاء بالتزاماتنا القانونية.

لتحسين موالو — لفهم أي الدروس تنجح، وإصلاح ما يتعطّل، وبناء ميزات جديدة. ونعتمد في ذلك على بيانات مُجمّعة أو مجهولة الهوية كلّما كان ذلك كافيًا.

للتواصل معك — رسائل الخدمة مثل الإيصالات وتنبيهات الأمان وإشعارات الحساب. أما الرسائل التسويقية فلا نرسلها إلا إذا طلبتها، وتحمل كل رسالة منها رابطًا لإلغاء الاشتراك.

Speaking is how Mualo teaches, so this deserves its own section. When you speak in a lesson, the audio is sent to our servers, transcribed, and used to generate the tutor’s reply and your pronunciation feedback.

Some of that processing runs on third-party AI providers acting on our instructions under a written contract. They may not use your data for their own purposes, and we do not permit your conversations to be used to train their public models.

You can delete a recording, or your whole conversation history, from the app at any time.

التحدّث هو الطريقة التي يعلّم بها موالو، ولذلك يستحق هذا الأمر بندًا خاصًا به. عندما تتحدّث في درس، يُرسَل الصوت إلى خوادمنا، ويُحوَّل إلى نص، ويُستخدم لتوليد ردّ المعلّم وملاحظات النطق الخاصة بك.

تجري بعض هذه المعالجة لدى مزوّدي ذكاء اصطناعي خارجيين يعملون وفق تعليماتنا بموجب عقد مكتوب. ولا يجوز لهم استخدام بياناتك لأغراضهم الخاصة، ولا نسمح باستخدام محادثاتك لتدريب نماذجهم العامة.

يمكنك حذف أي تسجيل، أو سجلّ محادثاتك بالكامل، من داخل التطبيق في أي وقت.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on four grounds. Performance of our contract with you, for the lessons and your account. Our legitimate interests, for security, fraud prevention and product improvement. Your consent, for marketing email and anything else we ask you for — you can withdraw it at any time. And legal obligation, for tax and accounting records.

Service providers who work for us and only on our instructions — hosting, AI processing, speech recognition, analytics, payments, email delivery and customer support tooling.

Authorities, where the law requires it, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim. We push back on requests that are overbroad.

A buyer or successor, if Mualo is ever acquired or merged. This policy would follow your data, and we would tell you before anything changed.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

مقدّمو الخدمات الذين يعملون لحسابنا ووفق تعليماتنا وحدها — الاستضافة، ومعالجة الذكاء الاصطناعي، والتعرّف على الكلام، والتحليلات، والمدفوعات، وإرسال البريد الإلكتروني، وأدوات دعم العملاء.

الجهات الرسمية، حين يفرض القانون ذلك، أو حين نحتاج إلى إثبات حق قانوني أو الدفاع عنه. ونحن نعترض على الطلبات المفرطة في اتساعها.

المشتري أو الخلف القانوني، إذا جرى الاستحواذ على موالو أو اندماجه. وستنتقل هذه السياسة مع بياناتك، وسنُعلمك قبل أي تغيير.

نحن لا نبيع البيانات الشخصية، ولا نشاركها لأغراض الإعلانات السلوكية عبر المواقع والتطبيقات.

Mualo is run from servers that may sit outside the country you are in, including in the United States and the European Union. When we move personal data out of the EEA, the UK or another region with transfer rules, we do it under standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard, and we ask the same of our providers.

يعمل موالو على خوادم قد تكون خارج البلد الذي تقيم فيه، ومنها خوادم في الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي. وعندما ننقل بيانات شخصية خارج المنطقة الاقتصادية الأوروبية أو المملكة المتحدة أو أي منطقة أخرى لديها قواعد للنقل، فإننا نفعل ذلك بموجب الشروط التعاقدية النموذجية أو ضمانة قانونية أخرى، ونطلب الأمر نفسه من مزوّدينا.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is open. Close it and we delete or anonymise that data within 30 days, except where we have to keep something longer — invoices for tax law, or records tied to a legal claim.

Backups roll off on their own schedule, within 90 days of deletion. Aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely.

نحتفظ ببيانات حسابك وبيانات تعلّمك ما دام حسابك مفتوحًا. وإذا أغلقته، نحذف تلك البيانات أو نجعلها مجهولة الهوية خلال ٣٠ يومًا، إلا ما يلزمنا الاحتفاظ به مدة أطول، مثل الفواتير بحكم القانون الضريبي أو السجلات المرتبطة بمطالبة قانونية.

أما النسخ الاحتياطية فتنتهي وفق جدولها الخاص، خلال ٩٠ يومًا من الحذف. وقد نحتفظ إلى أجل غير مسمّى بالإحصاءات المُجمّعة التي لم يعد بالإمكان التعرّف عليك من خلالها.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, export it, object to a particular use, or withdraw a consent you gave. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to limit how we use your data or to ask that no decision about you is made by automation alone.

Write to privacy@mualo.app and we will answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are not happy with the answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

يمكنك أن تطلب منا نسخة من بياناتك، أو تصحيحها، أو حذفها، أو تصديرها، أو الاعتراض على استخدام معيّن لها، أو سحب موافقة سبق أن منحتها. وبحسب مكان إقامتك، قد يكون لك أيضًا حق تقييد استخدامنا لبياناتك أو طلب ألّا يُتَّخذ أي قرار بشأنك بالاعتماد على الأتمتة وحدها.

راسلنا على privacy@mualo.app وسنردّ خلال ٣٠ يومًا. وقد نحتاج أولًا إلى التحقق من هويتك. وإذا لم يُرضِك ردّنا، يمكنك تقديم شكوى إلى الهيئة المختصة بحماية البيانات في بلدك.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside the company is limited to the people who need it, and it is logged. Passwords are hashed, never stored in a form we can read.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

تُشفَّر البيانات أثناء نقلها وأثناء تخزينها. والوصول إليها داخل الشركة مقصور على من يحتاجه من العاملين، وهو مُسجَّل. أما كلمات المرور فمُشفَّرة تشفيرًا أحادي الاتجاه، ولا تُخزَّن أبدًا بصيغة يمكننا قراءتها.

لا يوجد نظام آمن تمامًا. وإذا وقع اختراق يمسّ بياناتك الشخصية، فسنُبلغك وسنُبلغ الجهة الرقابية المختصة وفق ما يقتضيه القانون.

Mualo is not for children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to privacy@mualo.app and we will delete the account.

موالو ليس مخصّصًا للأطفال دون سنّ ١٣ عامًا، أو دون ١٦ عامًا حيث يحدّد القانون المحلي هذه السنّ. ونحن لا نجمع بياناتهم عن علم. وإذا كنت تعتقد أن طفلًا قد زوّدنا ببيانات شخصية، فراسلنا على privacy@mualo.app وسنحذف الحساب.

This site uses the small number of cookies it needs to work and to count visits. The app itself uses local storage on your device to keep you signed in and to hold a lesson while it is in progress.

Your browser can block or clear cookies. Blocking the essential ones may stop parts of the site from working.

يستخدم هذا الموقع العدد القليل من ملفات تعريف الارتباط الذي يحتاجه ليعمل ولإحصاء الزيارات. أما التطبيق نفسه فيستخدم التخزين المحلي على جهازك لإبقائك مسجَّل الدخول وللاحتفاظ بالدرس أثناء تقدّمك فيه.

يمكن لمتصفّحك حظر ملفات تعريف الارتباط أو مسحها. وقد يؤدي حظر الأساسي منها إلى تعطّل أجزاء من الموقع.

When this policy changes we post the new version here and move the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
